My son's 95 Ranger was making a clunking noise and upon inspection I found that the front mount on the driver's side leaf spring had rusted and given out. I got the spring off by removing the rear mount which is bolted on. I am having a b*%#h of a time getting the bolts out of the spring. Any suggestions that don't involve cutting? I will cut if I have to but really don't want to. Also if I loosen the mouts of the gas tank can I get enough play to get access to the frame to feed the new bolts in (after I grind out the rivets)? Thanks for any help.
