| Hello all. This is my first posting here. I just finished installing a Fabtech 6 inch kit on my 2000 F150. It drives and looks great, but now that I am running 35 inch tires my brakes are not as good as they used to be. What can I do to make my brakes more powerful? A buddy of mine said that I could put a better master cylinder in and I could get the calipers off of a F250, would this work? I want better brakes but I can't spend a fortune on some high dollar brake system. Please help! Thanks, Kris _________________ 5.4L, 4x4, Fabtech 6" kit, 17" DC-1 blacks w/35" Pro Comp Muds |

| Force 10 @ about $2000.00 or take a look @ RotorPros with Centric Posi-Quiet pads or powerslots. Only you know your pocketbook. I went with Rotorpros/centric pads and I am pleased with the braking improvement, no dust with the Centric pads. |

| You can buy Lighning calipers and rotors to start. The L caliper is the same as the F250. You have to buy the calipers and rotors at the same time as the L/F250 caliper has a different offset. If you are serious about getting better beaking it would be better to go to a Brembo kit, in the $2-3k range. This is the price you have to pay for getting oversized tires. I'm not sure what you can do with master cylinders. |

| You can probably swap out for a bigger master cylinder and booster.
Simoli-are the 250 calipers and rotors completely bolt on? for 2 wheel drive as well? |

I have the RotorPros w/ same pads as Oysterbone. About 4 months now, much better stopping as stock, look better (slotted and drilled), and fit perfect. $160 delivered to my door (rotors AND pads, front only). I'm in So-Cal, and so are they, so that might have cut down on the shipping. A co-worker put the same all the way around on his late model Impala, and he really likes them. P.S. I painted the calipers with Duplicolor red ceramic caliper paint. I've had people ask me if they're aftermarket, cause you can see 'em through the Cragar S/S 5 spoke wheels. Bearpaw.
