for the previous 4 months or so , it felt like it took a minute from going from a gear to reverse...this only happend in reverse...do you think i am losing my reverse gear???

there is a video on the forum a few posts ago which a guy posted on how his truck shifted from an underbody view...mine did the same thing!

When you were parked were you on a incline of some sort? It may have been a little binding.

Above is the link to the video of shifting symptoms...

i have a stock 8.8 rear end with 3.55, and a stock e40d tranny...think it could have anything to do with being overdue for a tranny fluid change and filter? maybe something is tweaked in the valva body??

I would start with changing the filter. Most the issues I have had all related to the filter.

i went to the local ford dealer, they said it would be 200 bucks for a fluid and filter change... does that sound about right?
