I have a 2004 F150 XLT supercrew 4x4 and I would like to get a little size on my truck. I want to put a 2.5 inch leveling kit on it with 33 inch tires but really dont know much about it. I have stock 17in rims and would like to use those if at all possible to keep the price down. Can anyone give me some advice on some specific tires I should get or the price it will cost me to get it done? Like I said dont really know much about it but would like a little more information so I know what to get. Thanks

your tire selection will depend on what kind of tires you want (mudgrip, all terrain, etc..) and how much you wnat to put in to them - the levleing kits i have seen range from $200-350 (plus install) depending on manufacturer and how they are made - based on the truoble im having - id save the money on it - you will need it for the spark plug change on these year trucks - by that is just my beef right now - as far as tire brands, bfg, nitto, and pro comp are good choices - all offer sizes you are looking for in several patterns for 17" rims _________________ an unloaded gun is just an expensive paperweight

I run 33 on my screw FX4. The best tire I have had are the ones that I have now. They are a cooper tire STT. Aggresive off road tire. Minor humming in highway driveing. Cost is about $1000 for the tires. If you want somthing less aggressive Pep Boys has a tire called the Definity Dakota. I have had two sets of these(my Jeep and my Screw). They held up pretty well. As far as price they have a deal where you but 3 tires and you get the fourth tire free. I think they run about $160 each but not sure. If you want the coopers PM me and I can tell you where you can get a heck of a deal on them but you would have to drive to Waco Tx to get them. Good Luck.

Those prices are actually pretty high. You can get level kits off ebay shipped starting at $69. I installed mine by myself in a little over an hour. I wouldn't pay someone else to do it. You could put anywhere from 285/70/17's all the way up to 315/70/17's on it. _________________ Mods include:
