i was wiring a camera to an auxilary switch on a 2006 f250 and all went well until i found that for some reason i was getting no power to the wire that the manual had described as being the right wire. i tested aux#3 which was orange with a yellow stripe and then the other wires that were for the other switches. the ignition was on and the switches were on. the fuses were good and you could hear all of the relays. there must be a reason that there is no power to the wire.
as i understand it the wire should be a live positive when the switch is engaged, but for some reason there is no power. is there somthing that i need to do to activate the circut that the manual didnt describe?
well for starters check fuse 2.3 a 10AMP in the interior fuse box. if that is not blown you will have to access those relays and do some testing for proper circuit operation.
