I changed plugs on a 2004 4.0 v6 ranger, one of the plugs (#4) went in at an angle and the tip broke off,and is in the cylinder.I replced the damaged plug and when I started the engine there is a knock. I tried to blow it out by running the engine with the plug out and even ran a hose from a vaccuum cleaner into the cylinder thinking I could suck it out,no luck..The tip the only part of the plug missing the electrode is intact. Any ideas???

Thanks Bob

you may have damaged your piston or bent a valve with that lil piece...you should have not started it with it in the cylinder. get a lighted boroscope (spelling?) and look into the cylinder and see whats
goin on.

Got lucky, the fan was hitting the shroud, not a piece of the plug.
