I have noticed on a few diesel trucks the owners have put stacks on them. I was wondering what this does(if anything)

you have to admit it looks darn good when you see them 2 stacks bellowing out black smoke when you get on it, well if your into that sort of thing

Unless you're throwing a larger diameter pipe up there, then they can start to affect performance. I think 4" is the biggest I would ever think of going wwith an oil burner. But then again, HUGE bore pipes start looking way to big for a truck after that.
