I put a 2 inch front lift on my 08 super duty it went on with out a hitch fit good and came with 2 track arm spacers . Looks good but my steering wheel is to the right .It looks like it needs pulled and put on . Whats up with this the truck drives good
When doing a suspension life on a truck with the crossover steering, you move the axle further from the frame, thus making the distance from the steering box to the axle longer. Resulting in your pitman arm to be pulled to the right making your steering wheel turn to the right. You need to adjust the drag link if it is adjustable so that your steering wheel is correct. If you just take the steering wheel off an re-position it, you will loose that amount of steering to right. I am not exaclty sure about the setup on the 08, but if its similiar to the 01 then thats your problem.
As he said. Adjust drag link coming off the pitman arm actuating the steering linkage. Don't touch the steering wheel. Much easier to do under the truck than removing the airbag, etc.
I used to get this all the time doing alignments for a living. Take it to a good alignment shop and have them set the truck straight. That will take the little kink outta the wheel.
