i am looking/wanting a F-350 crewcab dually 4x4. what are some of the good years and what do i need to look for?? i want it for a daily driver, and to haul a small tractor on a gooseneck trailer, and a fifth wheel camper ~35ft. _________________ ~LugNutzz

i was told once when i was looking if you want the 7.3L diesel get a 2001 or 2002 or if you want the 6.0 get a 2003.5 and up that is just my thought on it just if you get one that is a 2003 make sure it isn't a factory buy back cause they reworked everything in them. my dad has a 2004 and his runs and drives great and my grandfather has a 2006 his is awesome. _________________ 2002 ford f-150 4wd supercab estate green

The 7.3L was turbocharged beginning in 1994. The later years are generally the best for any engine but I haven't seen a bad 7.3L. Personally, unless you have in writing from the head of FOMOCO that they will replace/repair any issues that may arise, I wouldn't buy any 6.0L. _________________ Got horses?!
