The 2008 model will be the last year for the current body style. The 09 looks like a baby super duty in the front. Too much like a box. My 08 Fx2 gets a lot of compliments. All the bugs since the 04 have been eliminated by Ford so you cant go wrong buying the 08. Also there are good incentives to buy now if you shop around. Im sure the new body style will grow on me but it's going to take a long time.

I was going to buy an 08 until I saw and read about the 09. The 08 is a great truck no doubt about it, but the 09 is even better. I can't wait for them to come out so I can get one. I will probably wait for the 2010 model though because of the new engine choices.

All the manufactures have to add something different to the new models to make them "better". A few more perceived hp, chrome accents, no gas cap, ect, ect. New will always be just that "new". It has to be better in some way to atract new buyers. The 2004-2008 F-Series was a huge step up for Ford. I'll wait for the 2013. By then my 08 will have over 150k miles and I'll be ready for the "new better" ford truck. Just hope it gets 40 mpg.

the 04-08 body style when it first came out, I thought was the most butt ugly thing out there. I thought Ford lost it, now I think it's one of the nicest designs to date IMHO. Now I just have to wait until the 09 body style grows on me. -Mike-

I don't think there will be many bugs, if any at all in the 09! Truck hasn't changed hardly at all.....other than cosmetics and a 6-speed tranny which is long overdue. The 6-speed has been out for a while anyway in the Expedition. I love my 08 but would not hesitate to buy an 09.....and they look just as good (almost)imo.

Think the 08 Grill looks way better than the 09.

Only thing I will miss is the 6 speed. The 4 speed 5.4 can be a bit sluggish from a stop.
