| Installing drop shackles will not void the warranty. I checked with my dealer before having them installed. Ford Racing sells a set and they have the axle shims. I decided to go with a brand that had the shims, just to be on the safe side. I have had mine on for a couple of weeks and no problems. It makes the truck look a whole lot better.
BTW, if you decide to replace your exhaust, I am interested in buying the stock exhaust tip. |

I installed a flowmaster 40 exhaust with black chrome tips. I let the muffler shop keep the stock tip. What else r u going to put in your truck? |

Sorry to hear that about the tip, but that's the way my luck always is.
BTW, the shackles that I had installed are by Groundforce. I has 4 Wheel Parts install the shackles because the charged 1/2 of what the dealer wanted to install the same part.
So far, I have tinted the windows, to include tinting over the factory tint in the rear, sheepskin seat covers over the cloth seats, Flowmaster 40 with dual tips exiting on the passenger side and a Bakflip G2 tonneau cover. My truck is Charcol Gray wiht the gray 20" factory wheels. The shop that installed the muffler on had 2.5" tips in stock. I still have my original tip and would like to get another one to replace the tiny tips that are on there now. I plan to add either a Airaid MIT and DryForce filter or an Air Force 1 CAI as soon as I can make up my mind. |

| I got the magellan nav unit and like it alot. Just want the newest software for the new POI but the disk is $80 from magellan and mine is version 5.2 i think, they have a 6.0 out now. I also have the gray 20s thats what sold the truck! We have a 07 used one here on the lot with what looks like about a 6 inch drop shackle and it has a nice ride height. but i don't know about useing a shackle that long. |
