I couldn't sat that motorcraft is the best. But, they are relatively cheap and are ford oem parts. I bought new motorcraft pads for my F150 and Mustang. Until I go with a complete brake upgrade, I am going to stick with the oem parts. Good luck.

If your going to keep the truck, I use Performance Friction's carbon metallic pads on my TC and 150.

Cheers

Call R1 Braking Concepts - #714-777-2323. They're in Anahiem,Ca. I put their rotors and ceramic pads on my '03, and have been very pleased with the results. Prices are fair, products are great. The rotors are zinc coated, slotted and cross drilled. The ceramic pads have a very good, progressive bite and produce very little visible dust. They're a noticable upgrade from stock. You wouldn't go wrong.
