| hey guys and gals,
i did a search but everything i put in i got nothing so i was wondering if anyone on here knew how to contact ford company.
The reason is because My mother has an 07 stepside f150 and when she bought it she got something called "auto butler" which is a polymer coating they the reapply every 6 months and she went to have another application done today and in the process have scratched her truck to the metal in several places and also put some gouges in the plastics on the stepside. She lives about 60 mi9les from the dealership so to go back and forth to get it fixed is not an option and they do not want to give a loaner vehicle to take home and drive her truck back down here when it is done and them take the loaner back.
The reason this is a problem is because they were willing to do this when she was buying it and had some things done but now they need to fix their screw up and they wont. Thats BS in my opinion.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks |

| its not fords problem, this is something you are going to have to take up with the dealership. the item is not a factroy installed item and you are going to have to talk to the dealership. if you call fords customer service they are going to laugh at you and tell you to call the dealer because it is not a factory ford installed item. you might even have to take it up with the people that actually put the item on. |

| Call the dealership and ask if they have a customer rep. Those people will work to keep you happy and usually they have some influence with the bosses. All else fails have a lawyer write a letter and also send a copy to Ford Motor Company. Ford can bring pressure on the dealership. That might costs $75 but that usually works because the dealership doesn't want the bad publicity. The lawyer will know what to say in the letter. |

| "its not fords problem"
i understand its not actually fords problem but in my opinion you know what they say sh*t rolls down hill, if the dealer is not willing to assist maybe a ford rep will have some influence in trying to keep customer satisfaction
that was my thought behind it |

| I personally dont think that Ford is going to get involved over a matter of a courtesy car not being provided. Unless I am reading the post wrong the dealership has admitted that they caused the problem, so now you just have to start raising hell with the management over being out a vehicle because of their mistake. I am sure that one of the managers has a company truck that he uses for a commuter... tell them you want that one!
I agree that you shouldn't be without a vehicle, but you will probably have to bang some heads together to get them to see it that way.
In my opinion its rare to find a dealership that will provide courtesy vehicles now...
It sucks but its a major insurance problem for them to have courtesy cars. |

Hi, I agree if they admitted to damaging the truck, they should repair it. I have also talked directly with the "Owner" to resolve issues. Should've seen the look on a Managers face when he yelled,"What do you want me to do, get the owner"? I replied,"Yes"! Problem resolved. I also take a dated vid/pics and have the service writer walk around the veh. and sign a no visable exterior damage note. Takes care of; "We didn't do that". Hope it works out for you, POWERUPP! _________________ Proud to be driven by FORD!

| point to one of the oldest used cars on the lot and say "Give me that one to drive" Who knowes, they may just be trying to save on preping a newer vehicle again. |

| Ask the dealership for the Regional Sales Managers contact information. This person works directly for Ford and is the one you talk to if you are not having luck getting issue resolved with the dealership. |
