| Newbie here, but glad I found yall when I did. I am about to purchase a vehicle, and looking very seriously at a used f150 crew cab with 47,000 miles. I have read some horror stories online about this year model.. Should I stay away? What problems have yall run in to? I really do appreciate any help you can offer!! |

| How much do they want?
Personally, I think its just a bit high in the miles...not too bad, but enough for me to keep looking. |

| price is in my price range, mileage I realize is a bit on the high side, I am more concerned about the reliability of this truck from now until say 100,000 miles. I have seen where there were a lot of recalls on this truck...any way to check that if this one was affected by that? I just dont want to buy a truck and then have to replace a tranny or rear end or anything worth a lot of $$$.
Any known problems? Or should I look at other year models? |

| I got the 05, for 3 years now, no issues, the only recall I know of is the fuel injectors, stick closed or open but I have not had any issues, I have 38k on it. Ford sent a notice that they ectended the warranty on the Fuel injector to 11 years or 250000 miles or something close to that.
Just a little high on mileage, make sure you go to Kelly blue book and NADA on the web and check what it is worth. The tires were another notice about vibration but at 47 you should make sure it got new tires and brakes anyways |

| You can actually go onto the ford website and put in the VIN for recalls, that'll tell you. |
