what would be the best performance chip i could buy for my truck

The best chip isn't a chip. Get a tuner/programmer so that you can change the settings as you wish. I've got an Edge Evo, and there's also Hypertech and Diablosport tuners, as well as a few others.

i have an edge and before my purchase i did quite a bit of research. i would say the edge. although, i have been told that the edge is better for the 4.6 and sct is better for the 5.4. if i were to go with sct i would def go with livewire bc then you have the display pod which is great about the edge. i think the sct livewire is a good bit more than the edge though.

You might want to check out sct x3 and the preditar also,there is a eliminator switch chip.

Troyer makes a 6600 chip with 4 programs and it will also kill the igniton so the truck wont start. I have one on my truck.

can anyone tell me the difference between the sct and a hypertech? I am curious on purchasing the Hypertech since it is sold at a store near but after I read all of you guys post I am now interested in the sct for my 5.4.
