| seems like when giving it gas and putting my foot into the gas pedal I hear a dieseling sound not really whistle noise, anyways heres the deal it made this noise with the stock air intake arm before I replaced it with an Airaid M.I.T. intake tube and replaced stock paper filter with an AEM DryFlow direct fit panel air filter and under hard acceleration I hear this like dieseling noise well thats what it sounds like to me maybe it's the air rushing in but like I said It did this before on the stock intake air tube as well, any ideas what this is? I never rode in a vehicle that has any aftermarket intakes or air intake tubes so dont know what to listen for, thanks in advance. Oh ya it's 08' F-150 5.4L XLT 2x4. _________________ 08' F-150 XLT 5.4L Screw cab

| Sounds like its either a timing problem, or just bad gas. |

| now the aftermarket air intake will have a turbo sound cuz its sucking more air, like a whistle when your shiftin gears.dunno if that helps or not but being a 08 i would hope no problems |

| change your oil recently? mine truck sounds super loud like a diesel with conventional or semi-synthetic oil. especially when it gets about 1500-2000 miles on it. full synthetic helps stop the noise tho so ill put in some royal purple the next go around. _________________ Dual Exhaust,
