| Did you try pulling codes yet? Even if the CEL isn't on, you can pull codes.
If it's not starting with ether, it's either a compression problem or an ignition problem. You should grab the Haynes manual if you haven't already. It has great ignition system trouble shooting info. Did this problem happen suddenly or did you notice rough running before it happened?
Also, I know you said before you had problems with your glowplugs. You ought to check them again. If the engine block is cold soaked and those plugs are having problems again, the compression stroke won't create a high enough temperature to allow combustion to happen. |

| you know, i totally misread your first post. that's what i get for being up at 4am. it does sound more like a fuel problem. diesel can gel when it gets really cold, what're your temps like right now? like bob said, check for air and your fuel pressure too while your at it. |

| got it going.i was giving it to much fuel.all i had to do was to give it 1/3 on the fuel and it starts up and stays running.thanks |
