| a key fob? I haven't heard of this.
I looked it up an Wikipedia defines it as "...a decorative item many people often carry with their keys, on a ring or a chain, for ease of tactile identification, to provide a better grip, or to make a personal statement. Key fobs are often mistakenly called "key rings" or "key chains" in colloquial usage."
What exactly are you asking about? |

I don't believe that any trucks from this generation came with keyless entry. If you have power locks, I'm sure you could add it on.
As for wikipedia, www.wikipedia.org -- good place to find completely unreliable information _________________ 1989 F-150 XLT Lariat 4x4, 302, 4MT, under 100k original miles, almost no rust. Nice northern truck.

I think '94 was the first year RKE was offered in F-series. To find out, either pull the knee bolster (below the steering column) & check for the RKE module...
...or attempt to put the system into programming mode. If the locks cycle, you have RKE. Read the captions of these diagrams. _________________
