| Hi,
A friend has a 1991 F-150 V8, his father was driving it, it just stopped. He had it towed home, and hasn't started since. It will turn over, but will not start. It's getting fire to the plugs, fuel to the fuel rail (under pressure) but here is the thing, the spark plugs are dry, no matter how much we crank it, the plugs remain dry. We sprayed starter fluid into the induction system, it never even tried to start. Please Help
Thanks |

| I removed the distributor cap and brought #1 up to top dead center, the rotor button was pointing to the front, and not at # 1 spark plug. I set the timing, but it still will not start. |

| did u check the compression on it? if the distributer was pointing to the wrong place, the gear on the distributer would have to slip or the timing chain would have to jump some teeth |

| No, I want be able to check the compression until this weekend. Why do you think that no gas is getting to the spark plugs, when it's getting fuel to the fuel rail? |
