| You're going from an eighth generation (87-91) to a ninth (92-96/97). I would think you'd have some problems. |

| i believe they are interchangeable between all of the 150's from 80-96
i might be wrong though

| I would think that the sheetmetal should be the same from the A pillar backward aside from minor stuff like door handles, so if you are trying to swap a front clip, well it might be worth a try if you have the bucks to make a mistake. I know the 92-96 front end looks sweet...
As far as the suspension goes, I believe they are the same, mostly drivetrain, trim, and interior changes... _________________ If you don't reach for what you want in life, how will you get it? |

| Yea i was thinkin that maybe i can just swap out the front panels and stuff like that up. im not worried about the suppension and stuff cuz i got brand new. i jus like the 92-96 front end and i can get clear corners for it cuz they dont make it for the 89 |

| IIRC the nose sheet metal should fit. You'll probably have to use the newer rad support bulkhead. The headlights also need this panel to fit. These tend to rust here in the NE so check the bottoms. If you get a front clip get as much of the wiring and fender mounted stuff if possible.
The vent windows and some other things are slightly different but will interchange.
I don't know about the cowl vents or bumper fitment. I liked the 83 for looks and but my 94 with its better ergonomics and IMHO better quality, is a better truck. The 80 to 96 is still the best design for a working truck. At a 180k miles my truck is still powerful, quiet, dependable, and cleans up well, unlike the old fart who drives it.
Good Luck, Parts swapping is kinda fun. PB blaster and power tools!
