Ford F150 - Mildew smell in the cab.

Getting a mildew smell from the duct work. We had rain the day before. Is there a drain plug that could be blocked? Any one with the same problem? I have an 05 SCREW FX4.

The first culprit would be your rear window.

Sounds like it's mold or something in your ventalation (sp) system. If you have a cabin air filter that's where to start.

Do the 05 have a cabin filter? where would it be? I'll check it out tomorrow

Sorry, I was still thinking in '97-'03 mode when I said the rear window.

I had the same problem with my 04STX. It was related to my evaporator.

i have a alot of steam on my passenger side windshield 1997 f150 could it be the heater core?
