I need to replace a headlight assembly on a 1993 f150. Hit a deer so most of the grill is gone, so i was wondering if its possible to do so without it?? I've look at it and it seems that the assembly attaches to the grill which streches behind the assembly. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks
No, the grille is separate & easy to remove. But you don't need to pull the grille to get the headlight out. Just 2 phillips screws on top & 2 10mm (or are they 11mm?) nuts on the back.
The plastic part behind the headlights is the header panel.
