I love my 93′ Ranger over 200K and is still rolling strong. Ford is definately the best there is and the Ranger replacement is sure to be one that can live up to the reputation that the Ranger nameplate has established

The first company with a small diesel get my money…. Look at what europe is doing …we stiil think that 20 mpg is good mileage…. Wake up car makers your a sleep, ….start light diesels just like europe, the public will follow. Look at the numbers almost 50% ARE DIESELS…. They can’t all be wrong.

I have been waiting for this since I had a 1977 F100 shortbox. It road like a car but still handled like a truck and was hot.
I like the idea of a turbo 6 and the 4 doors. I’ll be waiting at my dealers door in Sept. 2011

If Ford does pan out on this deal I hope for the love of God they make a crewcab with four outside door handles. I would have my 2006 Nissan Frontier title and cash difference in my hand. I sure hope someone at Ford reads these.

wish the guys at ford would build a intermediate truck (ranger,f-100) with a small turbo desiel. bullydog could help them set up for power or economy. also a true four door intermediate would be nice.

A retro like 50’s F100 would bring me in to the showroom with cash in hand. Until then I’ll modify my 00 F150 Supercab and not hold my breath for such an animal.
