This is a Ford truck enthusiast site. It's full of folks who love trucks, but do they love the fuel economy? Not always! There are plenty of companies that sell products that are supposed to help you get better mileage. One company making such claims is Tornado Air Systems.
Their product, the Tornado fuel saver, is an "air twister" that goes inline in the air inlet of your engine. It supposedly creates a swirling air stream that is supposed to increase fuel economy. I've seen a review on Two Guy's Garage and they endorsed it, but it was a paid review. That's not very fair is it?
Products like this rarely work, whether they're a specific product like the Tornado or something similar. There are so many variables in the fuel economy of any vehicle, that's it's hard to prove that the product increases fuel economy. While you can make your own decision about the Tornado, we'd stronly suggest you read the links below and decide. Most people think it doesn't increase mileage, but the odd person does.
