I have a factory installed tach but I reinstalled a 302 engine in place of the 4.6. I got the oil, speedometer, alternator, point ignition working but when I misplaced the tach wire on the engine block I lost my whereabouts. Does anyone know what color the under hood wire is from the harness to the coil? I have a standard single coil + / - side. I had some problems reading the color code for the wires coming off my speed sensor as the Motor manual said they were different colors than under the hood. I finally found out which ones I needed to wire up and it works now good. Any help on that color wire to hook my tach up would be appreciated.
